I am building an open, reproducible benchmark for simheuristic optimization of distribution-grid operation under uncertainty.
The benchmark targets voltage-constrained operation with distributed generation and storage, using open tools and standard test networks, so that results can be reproduced and compared across methods.
Alongside the benchmark, I am working on evaluation methodology: how to compare simheuristic and baseline approaches fairly when the objective is estimated by Monte Carlo simulation, and how to account for risk rather than expected cost alone.
